Our Mission
Committed to Responsible IT Equipment Recycling and Disposal Services
At Gwent Computer Recycling, we provide a comprehensive, free recycling service for all types of IT equipment. Our experienced team is dedicated to ensuring that your redundant technology is disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. We are able to handle both small and large collections, accommodating the needs of all our clients.
Our focus is on making the recycling process as seamless as possible for you. We will come to your location and take care of everything, leaving you free to concentrate on your business.
Since 2007 the WEEE directive has stated that all redundant computer equipment is classed as E waste. It also states that CRT monitors are classed as Hazardous waste, therefore the recycling agent you use must be fully licensed with the Environment Agency, in order to be able to handle this equipment and be fully compliant with the WEEE Regulations. Companies that collect waste must be registered waste carriers and their site must have an environmental permit or an appropriate registered exemption. You can be confident that Gwent Computer Recycling meet all of these requirements.
100% Data Protection Guarantee
We provide 100% Data Protection Guarantee. We completely format all HDD’s. If for some reason we cannot remove any data, the hard drives are physically destroyed. We are registered with the ICO for the data protection act.
